Quaint With Paint has been working on this Lane cedar trunk for awhile now. It was painted in Annie Sloan French Linen, which is a great neutral color, but it just wasn't love at first sight. It was boring. So I sanded and sanded and brought some of the wood through. Still wasn't right. After much contemplating, I thought I would try a wash with Old White. Now I like it! The wash seemed to add some interest. It is protected with clear and dark wax which is really hard to see from the picture. I am not sure if Quaint With Paint will be selling this beauty. I'll let you know after I find someone to help me carry it upstairs! The pillows, however, are available!
