Quaint With Paint wanted to take a minute and show some love for the Olympics! Don't you love hearing the stories behind the athletes? It is what makes the Olympics so special.
My husband (I didn't go) went to a fundraiser for the US bobsled team in Washington awhile back. There he got to meet the athletes and others and make a financial contribution to their success. We are the only country in the world whose athletes rely solely on private support. He brought me home a goodie bag which included these mittens I have been wearing this winter and a jacket.
Congratulations go out to Elana Meyers who won silver. Elana was a softball player who wanted to be in the Olympics. When softball was taken out of the Olympics, she decided to try bobsled because her goal was to be an Olympian. Way to go!
Anyway, on the business front, Quaint With Paint would like to announce that it will be renting space in The Painted Mill Vintage Tag Sale opening April 2014 in Fallston, Maryland. Until this you would have to travel to Frederick to find something of this nature. Myself and all of the vendors are very excited! I look forward to seeing you there!
Quaint With Paint will be working on an Olympic level until then! If you haven't given us a like on Facebook, a follow on Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram, what are you waiting for?
Stay tuned for pictures of some fantastic pieces!
