Three Times A Charm! I have had these lamps for years now waiting to do something with them. I bought them at an auction for $1 each! They are Stiffel lamps! They were just very dated in style. So one day I tried the new Modern Masters products to make them look like aged copper. Well, it looked like the winner of a Pinterest Fails contest. So in my basement they sat... Then I tried painting them a bright color. Didn't work! Well, today was their day! A couple coats of Annie Sloan Graphite, black wax and some silver bling, and voila!

A?

Quite a transformation of a 1920s secretary for a teacher who many years ago taught my children in elementary school. It is a gift for her husband. It was his mom's and they want to use it for a computer but it was pretty worn and didn't match their style. The mahogany veneer has been stripped and stained natural. The rest got a facelift with General Finishes products. What do you think? I hope I earned an A!
